The Naked Eye..,

"The naked eye deceives"- Michael Dorris.

Every now and then we humans use our eyes as weapon in our everyday living. According to scholars we are visual animals. We learn by seeing things, we record them in our minds. Thanks to our eyes we will be able to walk the road of life. That is the very function of our eyes, it makes us see things, thus, making us store it in our memories.

However, there are some things our eyes cannot see. Aside from the abstract things around us, it could not also detect the real intention of a person, nor it could recognize its true color. In other words, the opening quote of this post emphasizes that what our eyes sees does not assure that it is real. Moreover, the eye alone could not be relied in judging a character, basically because if we rely on it our judgment could be void. As such we must remember that what we see is not always what we get. Be careful of the good looking things that you see, they may possess the kind of evil you can not imagine they would have. And do not easily show your fears to horrible faces, they may carry an angelic heart.

Our eyes may be our weapons to survive, but mind you, when we keep on relying on it especially when making friends it may lead us to deception. I am not bringing out the negative side of the naked eye, but rather, I would like to warn my fellow visual species to be careful in the things you see. It is not an assurance that when a thing you see is tangible it is already real.

Nowadays, I have observed that many artists are on the rise most of them are actors, therefore, our generation is the era of actors and performers. The thing that I am putting into emphasis is that it is hard nowadays to tell who is who, who is what, and who did it. So the bottom line, use your eyes to see, use your brain to think but most of all use your heart to see the real things that require thinking.
