Enemies..,

"Love your Enemies"

- Jesus

This means that we must not let hatred grew in our hearts. We must be able to forgive others for their short comings unto us. We must be able to consider others and we must not also ignore them even if they are our enemies. As said in the Bible "What you bind on Earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you lose on earth shall be lost in heaven." This is the biblical meaning of the phrase "love your enemies".
I agree on this passage, however, I have my own viewpoint about this.
For me, this phrase means that we must be thankful if we have enemies. They are blessings in disguise. Basically because, when we have enemies, we are expected to have detractors. And these people will bring out the best in us ,since they are the ones who will challenge and urge our capacity to do things. In other words, they aid in the process of molding the better person within us and also they help in the creation of a new you that will soon exist.
The picture I would want to draw is that we must look at our enemies not as burdens in our lives, but rather, blessings that may tear the weak personality we have but will be bringing into existence the better and worthy person from our hearts.
Our foes may create steps that will pull us down, but on the brighter side of their existence, they serve us our stepping stones to achieve success. Additionally, they play the role of a construction worker that will help us build a better persona instead of a terrorist that will contribute to the death we fear.

On the contrary, I would rather have friends than foes. However, I would like to thank God for lending me enemies that contribute in my path to self-discovery and success.

But please, do make friends rather than foes.
